SMS stands for short message service which has 2.4billion users, this form of communication has doubled in the last couple of years to become one of the most used phone services. It has a maximum of 160 characters, and has been adopted my every mobile company and is now being in cooperated into land lines. in 2001 there were barley even a million texts a month but in 2008 its over 70billion(Fact from WIKI Tom P)
